nothing to set up
Texting works out of the box — no setup on your end. Behind the scenes Adapix picks the best route for each message:
- Your own texting line — set one up in one click (SMS & Email → "Your texting line" → Set up my line) and every text goes out from your business's own dedicated number: blue-bubble iMessage on iPhones, with automatic fallback for everyone else. Customers can reply to it and the conversation lands in your Inbox.
- Shared line / SMS — before you set up your own line, texts ride Adapix's shared iMessage line or standard SMS. A message always goes out either way.
Which way did it go? Every text shows a small chip in the conversation view — iMessage (blue) or TEXT — so you always know how it reached them.
Every text supports STOP to opt out (honored automatically, can't be overridden) and HELP for help. Details: SMS program & opt-in.
Write a one-off message
SMS & Email → Write a message lets you send something outside the normal follow-up sequence — a quick text or email to any contact, or a new person by just entering their number/address.
The To box is a search. Start typing a name and pick the contact — their number (or email, on the Email tab) fills in, and Adapix immediately drafts a personal starter message for you from what it remembers about them: their job, their quote, and anything they've mentioned in past conversations. It's just a head start — edit every word or delete it and write your own before anything sends.
Same thing on Calls. Queue a call works the same way: search the contact, and a suggested call goal appears pre-filled from what Adapix knows about them. Edit it or pick one of the preset goals instead.
- Queue for approval — waits in your Inbox like everything else Adapix drafts.
- Send now — goes out immediately.
- Send at (optional) — pick a future date and time instead. Adapix holds it and sends it exactly then, still inside the 8am–9pm sending window.
