Settings → Follow-up rules:
- First follow-up after… — send the opening touch immediately, or wait 1–7 days.
- Max tries — how many outbound messages before Adapix backs off. A customer reply resets the counter — it never pesters someone who's already talking to you.
- Auto-approve — once you've read enough drafts to trust it, routine follow-ups can send without waiting for you. Your call, on your timeline; day one it asks permission for everything.
- Pause Adapix — the button on your Home screen freezes everything instantly: no new drafts, no sends, until you resume.
Auto-approve: exactly what it does and doesn't cover
The auto-approve toggle lives in Settings → Follow-up rules. Here's the precise behavior, so there are no surprises:
- Toggle OFF (the default) — every follow-up Adapix writes waits in your Inbox until you read it and tap Send. Nothing goes out without your OK.
- Toggle ON — scheduled follow-ups send the moment they're written, no Inbox stop. You'll still see everything it sent in the conversation history.
- Customer replies — quick acknowledgments and answers Adapix knows from what you taught it send automatically either way. That's by design: a customer who texts back shouldn't wait hours for a receipt.
- Anything sensitive always comes to you — questions Adapix can't answer, callback requests, upset customers, and emergencies are never auto-answered beyond a polite "the owner will get right back to you." They escalate to your Inbox (and ping your phone if notifications are on), toggle or no toggle.
- STOP always wins — opt-outs are honored instantly and automatically in every mode. Auto-approve can never message someone who opted out.
Our advice: run with approval on for the first week or two. Once the drafts stop surprising you, flip auto-approve on and let Adapix run — you can flip it back anytime, and Pause is always one tap away.
